Abu-Bakr (Radiallahu’Anhu) is only one who is called as As-Siddeeq (the most truthful) by ALLAH the Almight himself. Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) was one of the greatest and closest companion of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihiwasalam). Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) loved the Messenger Of ALLAH, at such a height that his heart decided to sacrifice his life for the sleep of Rasulullah. And when Rasullah invited people towards Islam, everyone would give a thought but it was Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) who accepted Islam, without even a single thought. That shows the real love of Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) toward the messenger of ALLAH. He was the first Sahaba of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu’Alaihiwassalam) and he was the one who was next to Prophet with his characters and closeness towards ALLAH the most-loving.

Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) was 51, when our Prophet Muhammad (Salallahu’Alaihiwassalam) was 53. Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) was basically a weak man. Even at this age our Prophet walked 2 miles, and Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) accompanied him. At which, crossing that city would be very dangerous, at it’s occupied by their enemies. Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) requested to the Messenger of ALLAH, that they have left out two pairs of footsteps, with which the enemies could track them easily, so he said to make them into one pair of footsteps. And  Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) carried our Messenger of ALLAH in his shoulders up the mountain, to the cave.

( Remember my dear brothers and sisters, Ali (Radiallahu’Anhu) was such a strong man. He could defeat any number of people. When Messenger of ALLAH, broke all the idols placed in Ka’ba, there was one idol left, to which Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu’Alaihiwassalam) could not reach. And Ali (Radiallahu’Anhu) said that, he would lift the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu’Alaihiwassalam) and at that time Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu’Alaihiwassalam) said that his Wahi i.e.., prophet-hood is very heavy and Ali (Radiallahu’Anhu’s) strong body cannot bear him. )

It is mentioned in the Holy Qura’an in Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 40:”

If you do not aid the Prophet – Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, “Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.” And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah – that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

Even the strong man Ali (Radiallahu’Anhu) couldn’t lift the Messenger of ALLAH, but the weak man Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) lifted the Messenger of ALLAH and climbed the mountain. This was the love he had for Our Prophet Muhammad (Salallahu’Alaihiwassalam). When they reached the cave, he said Prophet to say out until he calls him inside the cave. Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) entered the cave and took his shall and cleaned the cave. He tore some pieces of it and blocked all the holes. And then called the Messenger of ALLAH inside the cave. He said the Messenger of ALLAH to take rest, as he would be tired. And made him lie in his lap. When Messeger of ALLAH began to sleep in his lap, Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) noticed hole. He didn’t have anything to block it with, so he used his legs. And a snake from the hole bite him. Now, Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) had two choices, one he can shout and wake the Prophet to save his life or stay the same way without disturbing the Prophet and die.

And Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) due to his love for the Messenger of ALLAH, he took the poison into him and stayed calm. The poison began to spread into his body, he couldn’t bear the pain. One drop of tear fell on Messenger of ALLAH, he woke and asked about it. Then Prophet took his blessed saliva and placed in the bitten place. And after the stay in the cave for 3days, they continued to walk Medina, while walking the Messenger of ALLAH (Salallahu’Alaihiwassalam) noticed that Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) would walk on his right, then would change and walk on his left, and again would keep changing his position. When Messenger of ALLAH enquired his about it, he said he was scared that the enemy would attack the Prophet, due to which he kept encircling him.(This story is mentioned in a book Ruhul Ma’ani written by Shaykh Syed Mehmood Allusi).

This shows the immense love Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu) had for our Prophet Muhammad (Salallahu’Alayhiwassalam). Nowadays, we don’t even love our parents to this level, but Abu-Bakr As-Siddeeq (Radiallahu’Anhu’s) love for Prophet was in such a height that, he was even ready to give his life for Prophet’s sleep.

ALHAMDHULILLAH, thats why he is a person rewarded with JANNAH.
